The Holidays are here!

That means getting together with friends and family.

Some of them are great, some of them are so-so, and some of them are just plain ENERGY VAMPIRES!

You know… the ones who throw covert insults at you, look down at you, speak negatively to your positivity, talk shit behind your back, even as they smile and pretend to be nice.

Or they have some kind of “agenda” and want to manipulate you, instead of simply being a genuine and forthright person.

So how do you protect your energy from these types over the Holidays?

First, always remember the Golden Rule from Scott Bolan’s “Mental Warfare Secrets” 🙂 …

Your Emotional Response Transfers Control To Your Attacker

You see, they want a response from you. They want you to feel bad, hurt, slighted, etc. It gives them a dopamine hit.

When you respond emotionally, you feed the monkey.

Instead, we’re going to starve the monkey.

And here’s a way that will make it Fun and Easy for you:

Practice Breathing, Pause, and Presence.

You can easily remember “BPP” for Breathing, Pause, and Presence.

Remember how you used to feel your blood pressure rise, or a cold chill in your stomach, or a feeling like you got punched in the gut when some negative relation took a verbal jab at you or gave you a condescending look?

This time, and from now on, you’ll Pause.

And Remember.

To BREATHE.

Deeply. and slowly.

While smiling inwardly.

And then, let that smile come to you outwardly, naturally.

Your smile is genuine because it is an INWARD smile.

Breathing energizes and calms you.

Now pay attention closely to the science of this, so you’ll know how it works and you’ll always remember it.

Like I mentioned, in my Mental Warfare Secrets course I teach that

“your emotional response transfers control to your agitator”

When you pause before response, instead of going with your first emotional response, you cause a reverse-energy vacuum.

By pausing and breathing you take volitional control of your own energy and emotions.

In other words, you take back control.

This will also cause subconscious doubt in the agitator.

Now you follow that up with a confident new Presence.

This establishes a new PATTERN.

Much like re-grooving a scratch on an old record (remember those? :-), you groove in a new pattern so the song plays the way YOU want it to play.

Make sense?

Then, once you’ve done BPP, have a very slight smile and look through their forehead as if you see someone coming up behind them, as if you know something they don’t know. (I learned this one from a seasoned Chicago street cop – one of the toughest cities on earth!)

This will give them a cold chill and cause them to be uncertain.

As simple as this may sound, it’s very powerful and works so good it’s almost unfair!

And the more you do it, the better you get at it.

You’ll start to have fun now, watching them squirm as you no longer react the way they expected you to.

Try it, you’ll be amazed.
